Hello There.
I’m Kimberly Fe’Lix, a writer, wellness enthusiast and mother of three. I have two amazing boys (10 & 6) and a 3 yr old girl. This blog is a glimpse into my life as I navigate motherhood, clean living (health + wellness), and nontoxic beauty. I’m so excited you’re here.
Welcome to Fe’Lix, Inside & Out, a one-stop shop for all things wellness; inside and out. I’ve created this website to help you navigate the journey to healthy living and green beauty. With a science background, a career in health and nutrition, and a yoga teacher certification, I am passionate about all aspects of wellness. Shifting my focus from medicine to motherhood, and now back to health and wellness, I’m on an ever-evolving journey to cultivate a healthy life. At my core, I believe in real food, authenticity, and real connections.
I am truly passionate about nutrition, but I believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body; so last year, I began to switch all of my personal care items over to green non-toxic beauty (my children’s products were always clean). Newly passionate about researching clean beauty, I quickly noticed a lack of representation in the still growing green beauty movement. I hope that by sharing information and building a community, I’ll empower people to live more mindfully; making green beauty more accessible and inclusive in the process.
I live with my husband, Mike, our two sons Elijah and Jeremiah, our daughter Eleanor, and our pug Captain in the D.C. area. We moved here from L.A. just over a year ago and while we loved Los Angeles and the beach, we also missed the snow and Fall (basic!), so we’re excited to soak all of that in while we spend some time on the East Coast. From wellness, motherhood, green beauty, and practical tips for cultivating a life you’ll love living, I hope you will find something to love here.
