Fitglow Beauty: Two high performing creams I love

Fitglow beauty Duo closeup- Felixinsideout

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know your girl is an oil lover. There are many reasons I’m team oil: my skin tends to be dry (& isn’t reactive), I like the simple natural ingredients (no fillers), and I love the multi-tasking nature of an oilย product (or omg a pressed balm! ๐Ÿ˜). But I also feel that there is absolutely space in my beauty cabinet for creams. These two by Fitglow Beauty are giving me life this Spring.

Once again myย Beauty Heroes discovery box is delivering green beauty gold.ย If you’re really into green beauty, then you’ve probably already heard of Beauty Heroes. But if not, don’t worry — I’m working on a post to review the Beauty Heroes monthly subscription service. Here’s the gist: It’s a beauty box subscription service that brings you two luxury skincare products every month; one full size and one “sidekick.”

This box introduced Fitglow beauty’s Cloud Comfort Cream ($84) and Redness Rescue Cream ($69). Both are fantastic. I’ve been enjoying them in my routine, especially as the veil of Winter threatens to be lifted. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Let me introduce you to Fitglow Beauty. This brand is all about plant-based ingredients with a purpose. The founder, Anna,ย spent over a decade on plant-based ingredient research and discussions with skin doctors and chemists to refine evidence-based formulas that go beyond treating the skins the top layer. The goal is to improve and transform your skin usingย evidence-based formulas that work with skin cells synergistically. The result? Skin that truly thrives.

I’ve heard great things about all of the skincare products, but Fitglow Beauty is more than just skincare. You can also find cult favorite makeup items by this conscientious brand (all products are cruelty-free). I’ve got my eye on their Lip Colour Serums in colors “bliss” and “koi.”

Not your average face cream

These creams caught my attention because of the thoughtful formulation. In addition to being totally clean; both rank ZERO on the Think dirty App; they are also super moisturizing. The formula uses liposomesย to deliver fatty acids, nutrients, hydration, and anti-inflammatory properties deep into your skin. I’m a biology nerd, so I went googly eyes as soon as I read about this formula. But if you aren’t into that sort of thing, let me break it down for you.

Fitglow Beauty’s use of liposomes means they created a vehicle to deliver the nutritive properties of their creamย into the tissues. Talk about getting all the bang for your buck. This type of delivery system is excellent for when you’re consuming nutrients, there is extensive research on liposomes for nutrient malabsorption treatment, and it’s also great for a skin formulation because it means nothing goes to waste. A product with this level of bioavailabilityย means everything is working in harmony and our skin is reaping all of the benefits. Jackpot!

Cloud Comfort Cream

Recommended for skin that is dry, dehydrated, or sensitive, this product felt super luxurious. It was creamy and sunk right into my skin. The Cloud Comfort Cream ($84) left my skin feeling hydrated and plump. This product is 95% organic and has some serious heavy-hitter ingredients such as arnica, comfrey, cucumber, horsetail, cloudberry, and chia extracts; all help with inflammation and moisture retention. Basically, a late winter/early spring must-have.

I liked that it didn’t leave a greasy film and that within a minute I could move right on to the next step in my routine. If you’re into a dewy look, this works great as a moisturizing primer and my makeup blended into my skin beautifullyย on top of it. I liked it a lot and would recommend it to anyone who is just not that into oils.

Redness Rescue Cream

This next product is seriously like a swiss army knife for those dealing with redness from rosacea or skin sensitivities.ย The Redness Rescue Cream ($69) reduces redness and calms angry skin. Fitglow Beauty achieved its goal by coming at the problem from two different angles. First, using simple color theory, it uses green pigment to visually correct for redness on the skin. But that’s not all, it also packs a powerful vitaminย punch, too.

This Redness Rescue Cream is not just covering up the redness. Nope,ย its formulated with a hydrating C3 plant blend to heal the root cause of the redness. What’s C3 you ask? Comfrey, calendula, and chamomile. Take those, blended with a wakame seaweed bio ferment extract and zinc, and you’ve got hydration and healing at your fingertips. I’m digging it.
