May Art of Organics Clean Beauty Subscription: Jet Set

Eleanor + Art of Organics flat late

I’m excited to share some news! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I am now a Clean Beauty Insider (formerly called Ambassadors) for Art of Organics, a clean beauty box subscription! This means, beginning with the May Art of Organics box, I’m an affiliate, but you know I would never suggest anything I don’t use and love.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed I’ve slowly been transitioning my content into the wellness sphere, as it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Green Beauty is a huge component of that; what we put ON our bodies is just as important as what we put IN our bodies… ya heard? I’m especially excited to be joining the Art of Organics lineup of clean beauty ambassadors/insiders (Check me out on their page) because I’m just as passionate about diversity, inclusion, and representation. I love that more brands are expanding their reach through collaborations with women who look like me.

If you know anything about me, you know that I am passionate about advocacy and inclusion. In fact, through my academic career and continued education, I have more than a decade of experience in research, political and healthcare advocacy, philanthropic organizations, and non-profit organizations. Taking a step back from my career to focus on raising my children didn’t change that part of who I am. It just turned my passion for researching and advocacy toward different topics.

When I began to research green beauty for my own personal reasons I quickly noticed a lack of representation in the still growing green beauty scene. Because you can’t take the advocacy out of the girl, I immediately began to think about ways that I could help make a change. I hope that by sharing information and building a community, I’ll not only inspire you to live more mindfully but that together we’ll use our collective voices to make green beauty more accessible and inclusive in the process.

Let Me Introduce You to Art of Organics

If you’re unfamiliar with Art of Organics (AO), let me give you the elevator pitch: named “one of the top 6 green beauty boxes you MUST subscribe to now” by Thoughtfully Magazine AO works exclusively with brands that are committed to using safe, high-quality, and ethically sourced ingredients. Each month you’ll receive a carefully selected set of organic, non-toxic, and cruelty-free products. There is so much attention not only to the details of efficacy but also to beauty. I also love that Art of Organics works with a new artist each month to design their box art. And the best part is the boxes retail for well over $70 each month, but will only cost you $39/mo.

Transitioning to green beauty can be overwhelming for some, which is why I wrote a three-part series making it easier to navigate. Because I totally get it, not everyone gets giddy doing the research. So if doing all the scrutinizing isn’t your thing, I highly encourage checking out the series I wrote (I include links to source material): Part One-The Why, Part Two- The Toxic Ten, and Part Three-4 Swaps to make ASAP. But if you want the know the secret sauce to making transitioning to green beauty effortless and fun? Subscriptions boxes that do all the scrutinizing and research for you. Done & Done.

May Art of Organics x Jet Set

AO-Jet Set theme MAY

This month’s Clean Beauty Box by Art of Organics is themed JET SET  & it’s all about multi-tasking essentials. Different from previous boxes, this month there isn’t a box at all. There are four brands featured and instead of the typical box, this month you’ll get a beautiful Art of Organics exclusive travel pouch ($20) created by Piece & Co. I’m excited about this collaboration because Piece & Co is truly reimagining the global supply chain and creates high-quality socially and environmentally sustainable fabrics and soft goods. I mean, talk about a brand that does more, and you’ll make my heart flutter. It doesn’t hurt that the pouch is super cute and perfect for all your summer travel.

In addition to the pouch, there are three other multi-tasking heavy hitters included. I’m telling you they are so good.

Travel Heavy Hitters

Kahina Giving Beauty - Prickly Pear Seed Oil

First, we’re getting the Prickly Pear Seed Oil Undereye Rollerball by Kahina Giving Beauty ($40). If you’re getting on a plane, you need this in your arsenal. Plain and simple. This cold-pressed Prickly Pear Seed Oil is excellent at hydrating, restoring elasticity, and depuffing the undereye area. In a pinch you can roll it on any puffy parts of your face and lightly pat it in; vitamins E, K, and the essential fatty acids will get your whole post-flight face together.

BYBI BABE Balm

Next, you’ll find the BYBI Babe Balm ($40) and omg. If you’ve been following me for any period of time you’ll know that I am never without a balm. Attribute my obsession to my fear of dry ashy skin, or maybe I just love being dewy. Either way, balms are my jam. And this serious multi-tasker is a good one. If you’ve ever used the cult classic ‘8 Hour Cream’ and were afraid of never finding a replacement, this one is for you. Made with Coenzyme Q10 and supporting ingredients like Calendula, Shea Butter, and Coconut oil, you can literally put this *ish on everything. This product also smells amazing, and the tube is a renewable plastic made from sugar cane and is completely bio-degradable. Even more reason to love it.

ODACITE Synergy Beauty Mask

This month’s box also includes a Clean Beauty Bonus, and it is perfect for all of your summer travel. The Odacité Immediate Skin Perfecting Beauty Masque ($5) This mask comes in a travel packet that contains up to two uses; perfect for once you’ve gotten to your final destination and are in need of a quick pick me up. This mask legit does it all. Made with a mixture of clay, activated charcoal, enzymes, and vitamin C you can expect a light exfoliation and brightening effect; exactly what you need after a long flight. I like my masks thick, so I only got one application out of this product. But, I had enough to bring it down onto my décolleté, which I totally recommend.

Excited to give it a try?

If you think that this sounds amazing, it is a $105 value that you can snag for only $39 after all, sign up HERE. Art of Organics has an initial subscription commitment of two months, but after that, you can cancel at any time. Almost every month they sell out, so if you’re interested, get on it, because this one isn’t going to last. Membership also comes with a 15% discount to their online store.

The best part? Every single AO product is something I feel safe letting my daughter handle… which is kinda the point, right?
