You guys… Give me ALL of the new HIGH-INTENSITY blushes from Kosas because they are amazing!
I’ve you’ve been following me for a while, you know that Kosas blushes were already my faves, but these high-intensity colors absolutely ＰＯＰ on brown skin — or if you just want a little boom boom pow 💥.
I’m sure you also know how I feel about inclusion in clean beauty. It is so necessary. Which means you also know that not a lot of brands hit the nail on the head. The thing is, I don’t represent all brown women. I know that a lot of shades and formulations work for me, but they do. not. work. on the average brown woman. Chalky, no color payoff, weird undertones — unacceptable. So when a brand steps up to do something about it, they get my attention.
I love that when Kosa’s got customer feedback that some of their blush shades weren’t “100% flattering on all skin tones,” they actually listened. And they did what they do, and changed the game! Not into cream blushes? They pumped up the jam on their powder duos as well. Basically, they got you.
Why Kosas cream blushes
Kosas’ blushes are clean, beautiful, blendable, and foolproof. I love that they are made with botanical ingredients that improve your skin, rather than hide it. In these blushes, you’ll find Apricot Kernal Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, and Jojoba Seed Oil; all of which restore, brighten and soothe the skin. Additionally, the new high-intensity blushes are packed with pigment and are buildable to your desired intensity.
I tend to prefer to have just sunkissed look, but I cannot deny how much of a bombshell I feel like when I just go for it and build these blushes up. I love them for every day and for a night out.
